@Mia yes I do i always have it at 37 xx
Maybe try taking a bath together and letting her sit in your lap. My sisters son is scared of baths, pools etc always has been and never got over it. (Almost 3 now) So I'd say keep exposing her while she's little even if she seems like she hates it.
@Mia yes good idea I didn't have this with my 1st as she's a water baby so this has thrown me
My first was like this and o started feeding him in the bath (he was EBF) and he ended up loving a bath
@Chloé Collier great idea💡
Mine both started out like that, but after a while they love it. I do have to make sure the temp is about 38.5 (I run it at 39 but by the time I've got her undressed and played a bit it's dropped) as any colder and I get the screams! I also try to bath a hungry baby as they're more likely to settle with a bottle, so I aim for about 30 mins before a feed is due so by the time the bath is done and we're all dried and dressed it's normally right on time. Good luck, it's distressing hearing then scream and you wonder what your neighbours must think 😂 but it's gotta be done!
My little girl used to HATE them, started bathing with her and now she goes in by herself and she loves it! She does have morning baths too as night times just end in a meltdown still so we bath her when she’s happiest and most rested 🙂
We always shower. Hubby sits in the bathtub and baby girl is on his lap. She loves it. I had to give her bath myself 3x and she absolutely hated it 2 out of 3 😅🙈🙈
I had this issue, I know the max line on the baby bath is there but I realised she hated the water that low down and her chest was cold so I filled it higher and have the temp between 33 and 36 degrees. Now she loves it... just hates getting out!
Do you have a thermometer in the water? If not, it may be too cold. Aim for 38c
