My baby’s button was like this as well and it took about a week to completely heal. My health visitor suggested putting a small amount of table salt in it to draw out the moisture and wipe it off after 10 mins. I didn’t need to do this because it did heal itself.

My little boys looks like this! My community midwife said it’s all fine and I can bathe him now but I’m waiting for it to scab over before putting him in water
