Poorly bubs & food

My LO has hand. Foot and mouth! We've been told to give them soft, bland and easy to eat food but I'm at a loss! They've had scrambled eggs already today and I'll give them the other half with some yogurt and banana but at a loss for the coming days! They pretty much eat anything and we did BLW so any tips will help 🙏💕

You could make some frozen yogurt lollies. My little one went right off her food when she had hfm but loved a lolly I think the coldness eased the spots in her mouth

When my LO had the HFMD, we gave her bread, and other softer foods such as noodles and pasta with soft veggies. You could also try boiled potato, cold cucumbers, ice cream!

I wouldn't over complicate it, if what you have then today worked then continue. But there's also porridge

@Louise I think the mouth ulcers are coming through now so definitely want colder stuff! Have you got any recipes?

@Reeti I didn't think about cucumber! Thank you ❤️ I might try ice cream as well!

Our kiddo had it recently it sucked. He had a lot of yogurt, applesauce, noodles, and a lot of Powerade and applejuice. We gave him rice as often as he'd take it, but he didn't take almost anything solid while he had mouth ulcers.

@Tagmayne definitely going to top up on yogurts! Just thinking of smooth foods that would help!

@Megan for quick lollies I get the frubes or choobs and just freeze those. Or you could order a lolly mould from Amazon and pour little ones favorite yogurt into the mound. My daughter loves Greek yogurt so I used to use that and swirl in some fruity pouch

@Louise thank you ❤️ they are only 11m so I was surprised that I was told it was okay to give them lollies!
