Being induced Saturday

I had 2ml of the pessary and that was all i needed and within 7 hours had my baby in my arms. Honestly its not as bad as you ready but everyone is different. Just take some snack and some things to keep you both busy as it could take hours or days :) xx

Both my 2 pessary inductions led to a 36 and a 17 hour labour followed by emergency c sections so this 3rd I’m having an elective section. I believe they do a balloon induction now which is meant to be better if you can try and get that? Xx

I had a pessary induction at 38 weeks with my first and I loved it, I’d 100% do it again. It was nice and relaxing up until they took me to the labour ward to break my waters then I was in labour for 7 hours and he was out in 13 seconds!😂 it’s definitely not something to stress about!

I had the 24hr pessary with my first and would have it again if I got offered it. Worked so well that they took it out after 5 hours I found walking really helped speed things along x Hope it goes well for you on Saturday x

Had it 3x times and was overdue, ended up having a planned c section in the end ! On my second pregnancy now- hoping to go natural in the next week, but no signs yet! Good luck x

Good luck hun! I’m being induced Sunday due to gestational diabetes, extra fluid and her growth has dropped. I can only have the foley ballon due to a past c section

I'm currently being induced - had both the 24 hr pessary and two of the 12 hr pessaries. I only experienced mild cramps, totally manageable. For me, the pessaries didn't dilate my cervix but they softened it enough to get the all clear for my waters

Just had my induction booked in today by my consultant because baby is measuring small! Just waiting on a date now to come through- I will be having the pessary and then hormonal drip- I’ve been looking online at positive induction stories all evening!

I’d say take some entertainment with you as it can take days to work and you want ad fun distraction 😊
