That’s how my kids were! They make these sleep swaddles that zip up and are long sleeves, that’s the only way they’d sleep is if I put them in those. Maybe you can try those out!
@Tianna what is the name ??
@Duda no! Is it worth itv
If you search “long sleeve sleep sack” you’ll find all kinds! Amazon has a ton of option & Target has a few as well.
I think the one Tianna is referring to is called zipadee zip @Madison Hayes
@kelly I haven’t tried that one. The ones I have the babies hands are out they are just long sleeves.
The Merlin sleeping suit is very thick and it kind of makes it hard for the baby to move their legs and arms. My baby loves it and only sleeps wearing it.
We have the velcro swaddles and swaddle our daughter under her armpits. It keeps her snug, while leaving her safe to roll
The zip sacks are nice and some come with a snug piece you can put under the arms
The Merlin is designed for back sleeping only & their website says to start transitioning out of it once baby is rolling. I think your best bet would be to get a sleep sack & just have a few hard days/nights while baby gets used to it. If you have a partner it might be worth it to take shifts at night so you’re both getting some sleep while baby adjusts! But if they’re able to roll then the swaddle is unsafe so I wouldn’t put it off any longer
That’s a sleep association! You just have to teach baby how to create other sleep associations like dark room, sound machine, etc. mine sleeps in a sleeveless sack at night and for naps no sack.
My baby had the same reaction when we transitioned him out of a sleep sack. It was a rough 3 day transition but after that he was great :) We tried one arm out for nap times at first
@Madison Hayes my little dude was the same. We just bought some kyte sleep sacks and struggled at night for like a week. It's HARD, but he'll get used to it. I'll be honest. The first few nights were SO bad. He sleeps well now, though! We transitioned to sleep sacks and his crib at the same time!
The Merlin one is really good ..my LO was the same and I tried that suit..she sleeps good

As a mom of 3, you just have to do it, and do it right now. It's a transition and baby needs to adjust but swaddling when baby can roll is extremely dangerous
Have you tried the Magic Merlin sleeping suit?
