Early miscarriage

I had what i thought was my period on 1st feb, it was extremely light and only lasted 2 days and was about 2 weeks late but I didn’t think anything of it Fast forward to monday (24th) i’ve started bleeding again and very heavy soaking through 3 pads a day and passing a lot of clots, ive never had a period like this before What are the chances it could be a miscarriage? I guess theres no way to know for sure as I didn’t test before it started
