Failed Sweep
I had an appointment for a sweep today, but unfortunately my cervix was still closed so she couldn’t do the sweep. Has anyone actually had any labour signs after a failed sweep though? I swear I’m having cramps now but not sure if I’m just thinking into it.

Can I ask why you are having a sweep? When are you due?
@Vicky I’m due on 5th March so I’m 39+1 today. I’m being induced tomorrow due to mental health/anxiety reasons but they wanted to do a sweep first to see if that helped with the induction. I was induced with my first as well.

Did a check today, cervix is soft but still closed so I feel ya, I am due March 5th

I had 2 sweeps with my second. The first sweep didn't do anything. It was uncomfortable, and I started cramping, I didn't go into labour until the second sweep a week later. Hopefully, it works out for you.🤞
