How long after bloody show did baby appear?

Due today, I think I had it today. Just wondering if I still have a few days on average or if it’ll ramp up today, would be useful intel for childcare 😅 Cramping quite intense and has been for 12 hours (but not contracting all over yet). Definitely had blood so not just mucus plug (which last time was 10 days before birth). TIA!

I had my 1st sweep on Tuesday & lost my mucus plug about 8 hours later. I was due yesterday & still no sign of labour starting! X

Mine was during the night, waters broke at 10am, contractions started midnight and baby joined us 1pm x

@Lucy I think mucus plug is a little different to bloody show (at least according to google!), took me 10 days after losing plug to pop out the first last time 😅 Hope it isn’t too much longer for you! Xx

I had a sweep yesterday morning which the doctor said I wasn’t dilated enough to fully complete. Since this morning I’ve had tiny loss of mucas plug with blood back pain and cramping which seem more consistent than a wave. I’ve also noticed a huge bump drop… so not sure if the sweep wasn’t more successful than he thought? X
