That’s amazing so happy for you 🫶
I didn’t I was 10 months pp but I think you’d need to find a doctor or someone that’s willing to try. A lot of people don’t want to do that so you might have to ask around a lot of just settle with another c section if you like a certain doctor.
Not 6 months but 9 months PP and my OB didn’t make any negative comment, I even told him I was afraid of what he may say and he just told me “why? We love babies here!” We discussed VBAC and he said he’d be willing to try it for sure but (and this is why I like him because he ultimately goes with what his patient wants but will give his personal professional opinion too without pressure or judgement) he told me he’d recommend an elective C-section. Said if we waited the 2-3 years for our third a VBAC would be on the table still and we definitely could do it then too! I went ahead and decided on the elective but if you don’t like your doctors comments or if he doesn’t support it I’d look for another one that’s more open to considering helping you have a VBAC.
I am having a elective but fell pregnant at 6 mpp and have never been judged. Maybe a new dr is needed x
Ask to be out with a really supportive consultant x
Not 6 months but 9 months pp for me and the length between my pregnancies hasn’t been mentioned once and I was told a VBAC was an option from the start x
I was exactly 6months pp when I fell pregnant and my consultant was visibly relieved when I asked for a second c-section, he said that is what he would have advised if I’d asked. However if a vbac is important to you push for it and get yourself a team that’s on board, it’s def not impossible to do xx
Yes, me pregnant 3 months post partum. I had a csection in Jan 24 and Vbac Jan 25! No judgements. Midwives and doctors were very supportive of my decision to have a vbac.
