Nursing gowns & robe sets for the hospital. Loose pajama pants if that makes you more comfortable, but I mostly stayed in the bed. To go home, I'd suggest whatever comfortable maternity clothes you like most. I mostly wear loungey stuff as it is. No one at the hospital cares and there won't be outsiders to greet me when I get home. Your belly sticks around for a while, you still look pregnant immediately after giving birth, so maternity clothes are still the most comfortable for a while.
As far as baby dropping I carry low and couldn’t really tell with my first. With my second I started having a ton of twinges and pressure in my crotch and walking became a lot more uncomfortable. I had a cervix check at 37 weeks and her head was right there, 4 cm dilated. With my first two I just wore the hospital gown for my stay and a pair of baggy sweatpants and a tank top for coming home. For my third (and last) I’m way more focused on my comfort. I’m bringing a soft robe and a button up nightgown to wear at the hospital. The hospital gown was a little annoying and not the most comfortable material. For coming home this time I’m bringing a pair of soft, loose joggers and a loose t shirt. For most people it’s recommended to bring something that fit when you were around 6 months pregnant.
I'm having a C -section and I prefer a long dress that is cotton breathable I ain't got no time trying to put on no pants on or T-shirt Because I'm going to be in pain and I don't want to pick up my leg But only To get in the car 🙃 😅But that's just me I started feeling my baby dropped At my appointment Thursday he was head down This will be my second boy I feel like i carry low anyway The last few weeks are the hardest
I had my 36 week appointment yesterday and was told she still was gonna drop more. I've had a lot of pelvic pain in my vagina and butt I could have swore I was getting closer, but nope! 😊 only gonna get worse haha
