Funded hours

I currently qualify for the 15 funded childcare hours for my nearly 2 year old as me and my husband both work. I know it’s set to change to 30 in September. Will I still qualify even though I’ll be on maternity leave with baby no2? I think I would as I still am classed as being employed but just wanted to check? X

Yes I’m sure as you are still employed, I’m in the same position. Will need the additional hours with the maternity pay!

I'm sure you would still qualify as you can go back to your job role at any time you choose. So i would say yes x

I’m in the same boat. I’ve looked it up and I think we still qualify but it is a bit confusing x

I hope so cause I'm in the same boat. Want to increase his hours slightly so I can spend more one on one time with the new baby like I had with my now toddler
