I slept on my side facing the Moses basket, as I needed to watch the baby breathe. (Lots of anxiety 😅) but also helped when he cried as I didn’t have to struggle to sit up to get him.
On my back and on my side like before pregnancy. I could sleep normally straight away xx
On my back but lots of cushions/pillows so more sat up to begin with then removed extras bit at a time, after a couple weeks was back to flat on back and on sides
I am 5 weeks post op and now just sleep side and back with lots of pillows still! X
@Sarah you didn’t feel pains when trying to stand up? I do feel pain anytime I try to stand
@Ginger no pain really, both times it just felt like sore after the gym. No pains though standing up but we are all different, mine weren’t emergencies and I heal well normally xx
I slept sitting up for weeks and even when the time came to lie in my side it was still sore
I found it too painful when I slept on my back and I struggled getting in and out of bed so I bought a pillow wedge and slept upright for weeks
I slept sitting up for about 2 weeks, used the pregnancy pillow for support
I slept sitting up on the couch for about 2 or so weeks after. I cried if I laid down.
@Sarah you are so lucky. It’s funny how everyone heals differently . Some have it easier than others x
Thanks everyone, it may be that I have to have a section for my second so just thinking/planning ahead x
Lay on your back and put some pillows under your knees. This worked for me x
On your back x
