In my state you have to go to the court house and buy it for like $10. Still haven’t done that yet though lol
Where I am I had to go to state government and buy 1 or buy it online

Interesting! We get social security cards in the mail, but with birth certificates we have to go in and get one or I think there’s an online thing you can do to get it sent to you. I’d call and check where you haven’t gotten yours yet.
My state sends Social Security, but had to order birth certificate! You might want to look it up just in case you were told something incorrectly. I was able to order the certificate online and it came in the mail, but if I hadnt ordered it, I wouldn't have ever gotten one
In Michigan/Indiana you have to go online and order them

They mail us her social but I have to pay for the birth certificate. Makes me mad but I’m not paying for it yet
