My daughter takes off her clothes every night.

My almost 3 year old keeps taking off her clothes including her diaper. She’s potty trained during the day and nap time but she still wears a diaper at night. She starts crying in the middle of the night I go there and see her naked. I think what wakes her is peeing on herself. This has been happening for 2 weeks. Now I’m thinking about just potty training at night because she won’t stop. Sometimes before I go to bed I’ll check up on her and put her clothes/diaper on again. In the middle of the night it’s off again. Is anyone else dealing with this? I keep having to change her bedding, it’s tiring!

How do you speak to her when you approach this matter?

Put zip up pajamas on her backwards; also, does she run hot hot by chance? You could turn the temp down in her room if that's part of why she's undressing.

My son’s been doing this too. We still have a monitor I’m there so we know if he does it and we can go in and re dress him. We say hey let’s keep our clothes on because we don’t want to pee on ourselves. Or we don’t want to be cold. Tell her something that’ll make it make sense on why she shouldn’t do it. Not in a you’re being bad way.

@Truth❤️‍🔥 I usually tell her to keep her diaper and clothes on. The first few times I told her calmly but after 2 weeks I get frustrated and tell her I’m going to take her toys or doll away.

@Sarah great idea, I think it’s a control thing for her. She likes to do everything herself.

@Gabrielle yea im going to start paying attention to the monitor. Sometimes she un plugs the camera in the room too. Or sometimes she’ll undress while im asleep. Lol I know she knows it pisses me off 😂. Can’t wait until this is over.

@Sarah so I tried this. The first night she kept it on. The next night she managed to take it off. Idk how? I am just so tired at this point 😩
