Totally fine! My girls shoulders coming out was the worst part for me. After that the placenta came out quick. I was scared it was gonna hurt but it was just one more push and way easier than the baby of course. She was 9 lbs 7 oz. I was almost 250 lbs for reference.
No issue with either birth
First time didn’t feel it second time it was uncomfortable
Thank you ladies for your experiences, this makes me feel better knowing it is not always as bad as the doctors make it sound.
Your weight has nothing to do with how you birth … my only advice is so include stretching and light yoga … I didn’t do that with my second and I think that contributed to the uncomfortably… compared to my first I did yoga up until I birthed him
it felt relieving. it’s not a bad thing at all
@Jade I am doing some ball exercises, my main concern was the consultant saying that “because of my bmi” they will have to pull out my placenta which got me nervous 🙃
Your placenta should never get pulled out that’s crazy they said that… that can cause other things… make sure to have someone there to advocate for you
Yeah, they should not pull your placenta out, unless it’s been in there way too long. A bit of guiding or something, but they should not be full on tugging… that can cause other issues
It was fine! Felt kind of interesting lol but you somehow feel relieved once you get it out.
I had the injection with my first to help deliver the placenta
I can’t even remember my weight but I know I had a high bmi and the birth of the placenta was completely fine. I had little one and moved from the pool to the sofa and the placenta came out in a few pushes with no assistance about 15/20 mins after the birth id day x
