24 hour Blood pressure monitor

I'm wearing a 24-hour blood pressure monitor it's going off every half an hour but I feel like it's getting too tight. The whole cuff is inflating to the point. It looks like it's going to explode and it cuts off the blood circulation to my arm It keeps giving me error codes too so it goes off several times in a row. Does anybody have any advice please? I've readjusted it. I've taken it off and put it back on. I've flattened it out so it's completely deflated and put it back on. Tried moving it up and down etc I'm so close to just taking it off as it really hurts!!
