Stopping Milk/Bottles

Has anyone stopped Cows Milk/Bottles all together? My LB is 14 months this week and were down to one bottle of cows milk in the evening before bed (he doesnt feed to sleep) He's loosing interest in it tho, i offer him 7oz and he is maybe taking 4/5oz, but he doesnt look for it, he just takes it as i offer him it. Ive tried giving him it in a cup as a drink and he just doesnt drink it. He gets plenty of dairy in his meals/snacks - are we ok to stop it?🙈 FTM and questioning everything lol!

You will be fine to stop it if he's getting a good source of calcium from solids 😊 I found this online: "According to the NHS, for a baby over 1 year old, you can offer either a serving of milk (around 350ml) or two servings of other dairy products like yogurt or cheese, as they both provide the necessary calcium and nutrients for healthy growth." Hope this helps!

My friends little one has done this! Sounds great as you wont have a fight on your hands lol which Im pretty sure I will have 🙈🙈

My little one lost interest closer to 12 months, as others have said just make sure they're getting enough calcium elsewhere and it's all good

@Yasmin thanks for that 🤍
