Fussy eating

Please someone give me some tips on how to make food times better , he’s 13 months this month and past id say 3 months he does this with every food , he’s still much loving milk and would rather that then food most of the time . I’m not sure if it’s texture or flavour or what he doesn’t like me feeding him he prefers To do it him self , feel like I’m doing something wrong

Same thing with my LO so I’m following . It’s been like this 2 months and not changing. She’s not gaining any weight, height and has dropped centiles. She doesn’t like milk as well

mines like this if she’s tired or teething! also try some really fun food, like bright colours, funny textures!

My LB was exactly like this and didn’t start eating until he was around 15/16 months old. His SALT & Dietician told me to just keep trying small amounts often and to use loads of food play to try and get him to associate food with fun. He has since gone the other extreme and is now a hoover but is still not gaining weight or height and has dropped to 1st centile for both x

I have a quite fussy eater too where I also looking for some tips and advise, my only objection on this video would be if you have possibility put him in a high chair in a kitchen and hide all triggers like toys, TV or any noise in a background also sit down with him and eat the same or simmilar food, also give him to eat food himself rather than giving from your hands. I must admit I still struggle most of the time with my child but he is getting better. Also noticed colourful food is more attractive for him so like avocado beetroot, carots, colourful noodles mixed with mozzarella and Parmezan

Is your little one walking? My little guy really objects to being in a high chair at the moment, but will eat really well and try anything if he can take it in his hand and eat on the go (within reason, usually he stands and eats it) It’s not the safest thing to do, so I’m very cautious with what and how I offer, but it’s working for us until this phase passes (which it will do!!) I’ve seen people have success with toddler picky plates - use a cupcake tin to put lots of different things in. Take the pressure right off and reduce the milk, so little one gets a little hungrier for solids

Mine is exactly the same! She won’t eat anything offered it has to be under her terms and 99% ends up uneaten, thrown, or on the floor/highchair.
