Magnetic tiles
If I’m ordering magnetic tiles for my 2 year old… how many actual tiles should I be getting so that they will actually be able to play with them. The ones I’m looking at come in boxes of 26 tiles.

I just ordered 2 boxes. Will open one and keep it return the other - thanks though, your advice is sensible! Just didn’t know how much could be built with 26.
Also, do different makes tend to be compatible with each other?
Oh if you already ordered two, just keep both!! I'm positive your child (and you haha) will love them!!! I have multiple different brands of tiles and couldn't tell you the difference. They all work together!

Start with the 26 and see if he likes them, then add more if he does! We have hundreds at this point but my son is obsessed with them 😂
