I just got a regular armchair and still use it now for stories. I had a rocking nursing chair which I loved when my first baby was tiny but when he grew it was tight and uncomfortable
I got a rocking chair and honestly I was beating myself up about not having gotten it sooner. My little guy was really fighting us with sleep, whenever we'd put him down in the crib and he woke up, he'd fight falling asleep even more. Rocking seemed to have help, and I spent the first 3 months doing the rocking motion on my bed, which was activating my abs sooner than anyone should exercise after labour 😅😅 I 100000% recommend getting one, every help you can get in the newborn stage goes a long way
Nursing chairs are great because they rock and lock. I use it a lot. I got one free on facebook.
We got one and still use it now with our toddler. Definitely worth getting I think. We got a tutti bambini Jonah
For us it was really really useful, I got up for every single night feed and into the chair (I was so worried I would fall asleep if I stayed in bed). We spent hours and hours in that chair!
