Is there anyone who had a c section lately at Pindersfield and they had to remove the gel polish from the nails? Some people said its fine, others said the nails should be bare so they can measure the oxigen levels. Don’t know if i should remove mines or keep it.

i’ve got my section booked, i get my nails done but i have one finger free x

Mine wasn’t recent but you definitely have to have at least a few fingers visible, they need to see for oxygen levels as you said so deffo best to remove.

also i am in regularly at hospital and removed one nail for that reason so they can always check levels etc and im always told its fine as long as i’ve got one free to monitor if it fails at all they can use your toe x
