c section 5weeks+4days ago
i was on and off vaginal bleeding for the first 3 weeks and i haven’t been bleeding since then today i started having brown/black blood and every time i wipe its now red blood should i be concerned? i haven’t been able to call my health visitor to ask her

I wouldn’t be too worried. This is not excessive. Your body is still recovering, there is a wound where the placenta was + your C Section wound. It looks like a “scab” came off and caused a little bleed.
I bled on and off for 6 weeks but always speak to a professional if you are concerned, it’s what they are there for

Are you breastfeeding? That might be your first period. Mine came back at 8 weeks after my first baby (my pp lochia was only 2 weeks)
