Tips on dummy?

Does anyone have any tips on how to get a 3 month old baby to take a dummy? He’s breastfed but is having some real tantrums before naps which aren’t nice to see so we’ve decided to try a dummy in the hope it can help soothe him to sleep. So far, he just keeps spitting it out! I’m ordering different brands but does anyone have any tips on how to keep it in as I imagine he’ll probably do the same with all of them that I try!

We went through so many dummies. My boy settled on the NUK mummy feel, they’re thin and silicone. It’s still not his favourite thing and he will spit it out occasionally but it’s the only one he’s been willing to use 😂 I just kept on trying with it until he would keep it in for longer periods.

Try the bibs ones. We tried every dummy out there and he didn’t take to any of them but loves the bibs ones. You can get them cheaper on vinted if you want to try xx

@Molly which bibs ones do you have? Seems like there’s different teats although I notice they do a try it pack.

Maybe worth trying them all but it’s the classic one we have xx

Tommie tippie ultra light only one my lo could keep in mouth tried so many

Bibs ones are the only ones my little one will take, i tried all different ones and she gags on them all apart from these xx

I have the same issue with my 4 month old. If i do get the Bibs ones how do i get him to keep it in his mouth though? help please

I tried bibs and they worked OK, but her favorite by far are the Phillips avent.
