When does it get easier

Question for mums. When does it get easier. I have a 9 week old and I constantly feel drained. Sleepless nights even though sometimes she sleeps a 6 hour stretch. Every day feels a bit of a struggle. Does it get any easier?

When they move out? 😅🤣 The sleepless nights got better for us at 1 year with my eldest daughter but different kinda chaos begins then too But really by 5 months it got better because that's when we decided to have another one and now we have two beautiful girls 14 months apart 😍🥰

Absolutely drained too. Mostly because of LOs reflux and inability to put her down for more than few minutes at a time.

It definitely gets easier. In my opinion much easier around 5-6 months of age as they generally sleep a bit better and if you are breastfeeding they become less reliant on you for all their calories. Hang in there! It is so so tough the first few months so much so it almost put me off having my second! Don’t forget to accept any offers of help/ask for help where you can as even an hour of someone else holding the baby can help. Hope you feel more energised soon 🩷

I airways say the first four months are poo... It gets better soon xx

My daughter is a January 2023 baby (not so much a baby anymore 😔) and for me everything just seemed easier and more enjoyable around the 3-4 month mark. They become a bit more aware at that age, you feel like you yourself are getting more into a "rhythm" with them and they get more fun - classes like baby sensory and days out become more enjoyable because they are a bit more interactive. I think around 3 months is also when she started sleeping much longer stretches so your body is thanking you so much for those extra hours 😂 you've got so much more energy to enjoy the experience at that point! I know it's easy to say but hang in there. The easier nights are just around the corner and believe it or not, you do actually miss those newborn snuggles when they're gone (she's 2 now and here there and everywhere so to get a quick cuddle from her is near to impossible 😂).
