Postpartum checkup

I just had my postpartum check up @ 7 weeks because I had to reschedule- this is my 3rd baby but first time with an OB- it wasn’t my regular OB but all she did was look at my vagina for a second and say I’m good and able to live a normal life (exercise, sex) she told me to just listen to my body and that was that…. With my previous birth I had a midwife and I remember she pushed on my tummy to make sure my muscles were coming together and I didn’t have recti issues- I also remember the midwife doing an internal check up….. Is this normal?

That's all they did for me....I was surprised but I guess that's all that's needed?

I had a C-section and my OB just looked at the scar, asked if I had any pain or issues, and told me I could get back to normal.

All I got was a push on my stomach and a couple questions and was sent on my way.

I got mine today too. Asked a bunch of questions about bleeding and discharge and pain, then did a cervix/uterus check...when they feel from the outside and inside at the same time 🫣 I think all the questions is how they determine if they need to do a more thorough exam. If a lady was still bleeding or had weird discharge or any pain, they'd get more in depth.
