Bassinet sleeping

I posted the other day about my boy not sleeping in his bassinet. I had the same issue for a little while with my daughter but it eventually happened. Just looking for some new ideas that I might not have thought of. Some things I’ve done are heating pad prior, worn tshirt as the padding cover, swaddle, fed/burped/elevated for 15 minutes, binky.

is the bassinet right by your bed? mine is touching my bed and it helps to put my hand on her belly while she falls asleep.

White noise?? Maybe the bassinet just uncomfortable, we switched to a mini crib and my lo sleeps better now.

I got this one I put by my bed and it zips down so they are close and comforted by that. Once he’s asleep for 20 minutes and in a deep sleep I hold him really close during the transfer and super slow, then butt down first. While leaving one hand on baby, rock the bassinet and gently remove other hand and keep rocking for a few minutes. I also use white noise, tight swaddle, paci and the room at 70 degrees Hope this helps

my son hates sleeping in the bassinet completely flat but if we have one end (the head side lol) elevated, then he sleeps amazingly in it!

This is a total off the wall suggestion— but my 7 week old just wouldn’t sleep in the bassinet, hated itttt. So I put her in her crib and she’s in love. Turns out she’s just boujee and loves a good mattress 😅😅
