No more kids??

How did you know when you were done having kids? My husband would probably question me for posting this since we’re technically done having babies but now and then that baby fever sneaks in and I’m like 😳!!!! So how’d you know it was time to be done?

For me, I always wanted two kids. We love traveling and having two kids instead of more will be more affordable to us (we have family abroad too).
We also think of college funds and how pricey that’d be. We definitely want to contribute to their education (it’s made a huge difference in our lives to have our parents’ support).
We are also ready to move on from the baby face and continue to explore more activities that we can do with slightly older kids.
I do see babies and think “aaawee” but I have to pinch myself that there is more than that baby phase to continue to explore.
Ultimately it’s your decision. Good luck!

When I had my daughter I remember it being so hard postpartum depression and anxiety really got me. Add family stepping over boundaries and next thing I know I’m saying “I never want another baby”. By the time my daughter was one I had changed my mind and talked to my husband about it and we had differing feelings. It wasn’t until her 2nd birthday that I realized it wasn’t that I wanted another baby it’s that 1. I missed my daughter being a cute little baby and 2. Now that I was starting to feel normal again I felt robbed of my early days of becoming a new mom. I’m not saying everyday was hard but it was really rough when people especially family call you names just because you asked that they don’t kiss your baby or no I don’t want you to hold her I just need help sweeping. On top of that we didn’t have much of a village so when family would come over if affected me so much because it threw off everything I worked for.

Anyone else due 1st May?

I’m wondering whether I’ll have an April or May baby, thought she’d be late originally because she’s my first but I’ve had this weird feeling recently she’ll be early… if you’re in the same position what do you think?

Anxiety with the bump.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve suddenly developed a massive anxiety around anyone standing behind me. My husband is annoying me so much because even though I’ve told him how it makes me feel, he’s continued doing stuff in our kitchen (that is tiny anyway) and sliding past me to grab things. I know the baby is safe even if I were to bump the bump a little but even the thought of it is still making extremely anxious. How do I cope with this feeling and is anyone else going through the same sort of thing?

Breathless and feeling like I need to be sitting constantly!

Has anyone else been feeling this way as they're getting closer to their due date?

I attempted to change our bedding this evening and had to call my husband for back up as I literally felt like my lungs were going to explode just trying to reach over to put the sheet on.

I'm huffing and puffing just getting my toddler into his pjs, and I was sat down! Like what is going on 😮‍💨🥲

Everything has been check ie bloods etc so I think it's just general pregnancy as I'm now 38 weeks. My bump feels like it weighs about 100lbs 😭
