Anyone with experience of polyhydramnois?

Anyone got experience or going through polyhydramnois was diagnosed at 31 weeks with it, and got to have regular growth scans to keep checking the deep vertical pocket to see what levels are. Last scan said I had 8.8cm of fluid. What happened with people with this, did they get induced or have child early.. did it get better or worse? I’m not sure on this as this is first time being diagnosed with it as didn’t have with my son or wasn’t detected.

I had very mild polyhydramnois with my first so they induced me at 39 weeks using the pessary. They intention was to dilate me to 3cm so labour ward could break my waters while a midwife pushing on my belly to push baby down… this didn’t go to plan as after 12 hours with the pessary my waters broke naturally. Felt like a river, the water didn’t stop 😂 but baby was totally fine x

oh that’s good then so it stayed mild throughout xx

yes, was picked up at 28 weeks and I had weekly scans from 34 weeks (due to something else unrelated with baby) and it didn’t get worse xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
