Weaning baby off night feeds?

Has anyone got any strategies that worked for them? I exclusively pump and I usually get up once in the night around 2am. Until a month ago my baby (7 months) would sleep from 8-7ish with a 10pm feed and a maybe a little drop 2.30 when I was sone pumping. I could handle this. But about a month ago he got sick and wasn't eating so I fed him whenever he woke up at night and now he wants the bottle every hour or he'll cry. I can pick him up and he will fall back to sleep instead of eating but this also wakes up me several times at night. I live in a small apartment so the "cry it out method" isn't an option, not that I would want to do that anyway. Any tips would be really welcomed! I don't need him to sleep through the night completely just get back down to a feed or two.

The comfort/soothing ladder

It'll take time and practice to get back into the routine you want. Snuggles and cuddles, and slowly work on easing baby back to bed. It'll feel long, but you'll get it. Complex, just examples, it's taken me the past 2 weeks to get a naptime routine back to what I'm okay with. Another note, it's taken me 2 months to get my space back to myself at nighttime, cause of teething and needing to be comforted by mama at nighttime with the discomfort of teething A good feeding before bed may help, but ya gotta figure out what may help for you and baby on that good feeding before bed

It could be unrelated to sickness and just a phase. My little one is 3 and he still has ups and downs with night wakings and always has. I would try and gently go back to your routine you had without being too hard on yourself - get some extra sleep in the day or early nights where you can and things will get to where you want them to be x
