No naps! HELP!

My little one is 2 months old. He refuses to nap and when he does it’s for 10-15 minutes. It’s rare to me when he actually naps for an hour or more. At night luckily he sleeps more between feeds (and I also get to rest for a few hrs) but during the day it’s all fuss and crying that are driving me crazy 😭 because I feel like nothing I try works and the lack of sleep (mine including) is so exhausting! I have even bottled fed him my breastmilk to make sure he is having enough but that doesn’t work. Tried car/stroller rides but he usually cries in the carseat so that doesn’t work. Help me out mammas. 🙏🏽 What has worked for your babies to nap? Did you start a schedule on your little ones? I need as many tips and examples of schedules as possible. Thank you 🩵

Unfortunately you can’t really get a baby on a good routine until about 3 months old. But the baby should be sleeping a lot in general at that age. My babies at that age it seemed like the slept more throughout the day than awake lol. Have you tried a baby carrier? Could the baby be gassy? A lot of times at that age they are figuring how to poop and get constipated often. And if you’re breastfeeding sometimes what you’re eating could be making the baby fussy/gassy.

Maybe feeding them more during feeds, making sure they have no discomfort from gas and using white noise of some sort and making sure they’re very comfortable during naps-like not too hot or too cold. Sometimes putting a heating pad in their bed then removing it before you put them down helps. I also used to roll blankets up and use them like a body pillow for naps so they feel like they’re being held (if they’re a side sleeper)

Around thatbage my first would only contact nap for a while despite being able to nap independently as a newborn.

Girl I be going through the same, I believe it’s a growth spurt. I think after 3 months it gets better with naps

Have you tried contact naps?

Try swaddling him my 5 week old will wake up like that until I swaddle her then she sleeps for hours also I found out I’m not filling her enough with my breast milk so I also have to formula feed so try that as well I top of breast feeding
