According to Google it says the World Health Organization advises not to start the depo shot until after 6 weeks due to that fact it can affect breastmilk production. The hospital should've known that. Im not sure/ seeing how to remedy that, you can try to contact a lactation consultant. I'm so sorry that happened to you. I hope you can find a remedy quickly.
Not really of depo shot but I was producing a lot in the beginning too until lactation told me when my transitional milk was coming in , NOT to pump at all. I completely stopped for a day or two just to find myself soo dry.. I was able to supplement with my 2-3 frozen breastmilk that I was able to save in the beginning and I went back to pumping and skin to skin as frequent as I could. I pumped every 2-3 hrs after each BF days and nights. And it took me a week to start to get the supply back. I kept eating high calories and a lot of food too. Fenugreek tea , oatmeal cookies, Oreo, hydration drinks etc. Idk if that would help you as well since my experience is different but even if it was dry pumping I kept doing it so it tricks the body to know to produce ..I’m sorry to hear what you are going through

Yes I’m sorry that happened to you mama but depo is horrible…they have lawsuits against depo now…I used to be on depo for years but that’s before I had my daughter…you can try consulting a doula, lactation specialist, an herbalist to try and bring back hormonal balance
