It's been a month and my baby still cries when I drop her off. Then they send me photos of her an hour later playing with toys and eating her meals and snacks - happily. I think it's just the way it will be until she repeatedly realises that mummy and daddy will always come back. Separation anxiety peaks between 12-18 months
I had a call today to get him as he cried all day until 3! And wouldn’t sleep or eat! I’m finding it very hard. I can cope with the crying when I hand him over hoping he’ll stop but I’m finding it hard knowing his crying all day!
We had the same, got phone calls too but then it kind of stopped but we are on week11 and he still cry’s when am going, he didn’t eat for 6weeks and it was like that at home too so was on just milk for 6weeks but no milk at nursery it was awful x
Just too add now he’s eating absolutely everything and loves the food more then at home but the crying has not stopped x
It is difficult to leave them when they’re crying, even though you know they’re fine once they’re in and settled. My baby only goes in two days a week but it was by the third week that he was happy to go in without crying. That being said he does still cry in the odd occasion, usually if he’s not slept well or something similar.
