Anyone else or me just being fobbed off?

So today I went to my local GP for concern missing 2 periods and not being pregnant so questioned perimenopause for context I'm audhd and I feel the dr wasn't listening or understanding my adhd and turned around and said yes you could be going through the change what worries you about that. Hiw you supposed to answer that? I struggle with change. I'm so upset right now. Yes I've got blood test booked for other possibilities. And cause my anxiety showed up i started to cry. I've had to fill a form for depression. My anxiety makes me cry. I just feel theirs no compassion for women. Has anyone else had this ?

I also didn't get chance to say everything I wanted too. 😪

I'm very sorry to hear :( GPs aren't great at this. Maybe trying to reschedule with a different practitioner that works within the Women's Health department.

Unfortunately I don't think we have anyone who works within the woman health department well not that I know of. how can I find this out?

Some GP surgeries also have specialist nurse practitioners who have the latest training and information regarding menopause and perimenopause and can authorise prescriptions for HRT etc but more importantly SUPPORT you through your journey and listen to what you need. Hope you find the right support x

I wish I knew if ours have this. I also have problems with GPS gaslighting me since 29 I'm now 42. So i have lost trust in GPS. I genuinely have no were to turn or anyone to talk to about this.

I was also missed diagnosed as a child and my autism and adhd got missed 😔. And when I mention I'm audhd I get some very bad things said to me. For example you hide it well. Yes I learnt to mask from a very young age. Sorry I'm ranting.
