Can you claim UC when on mat leave?
I know it would depend on circumstances / income. For reference my partner earns £1,700 after monthly and I am currently on maternity leave but not sure if I am eligible

My partner earns around £100 less than yours and I’ve looked into UC whilst on Maternity… we bring in “too much” to be eligible unfortunately🙄😣
I think you’d need to apply in order to find out. Aside from you and your partners income it also depends on how much your rent is (if you are renting) and if you have any kids already.

I’ve gone from earning around 2k per month, sometimes more (I’m self employed) to now getting what 700/800 per month it’s a BIG drop for us😣 100% not good enough!
