Aww thanks for clarifying that the teacher was rude! I actually felt bad after that conversation with his teacher and my confidence knocked down. I am a single mom and due to domestic violence with my son’s father I had to move to my parents home with my little one - so after 2 years of living with my parents I decided to move out as many of my family members were criticising me and judging me for making my parents help me with my son. My son goes to a nursery near where my parents live so until I secured a nursery near my new home, he is staying with my parents so they take him to nursery 3 days a week. I found a new nursery today so the teachers there told me to find out with his current nursery how much notice do they need for him to leave there, so that’s when I called them and the nursery manager spoke to me and was very rude saying that my son is more attached with my parents than and she didn’t even let me Saying anything, she kept talking over me when I just wanted to enqu
@Sinead who should I make a complaint to? Ofsted? Also we missed one occupational speech therapy for my son as there was a lot going on with moving to the new house and plus he was not feeling well so because we missed that appointment to same nursery teacher threatened me to contact the social services.
That's rude!
complain to ofsted or HR, if it’s a chain company then it should have a HR or most places have a HR, the difficult thing is if it’s the manager that was rude to you then you can’t ask her for the HR details as she will be biased, check the website etc, i’m so sorry this happened to you, you’re doing everything right ❤️
what do you mean your son lives with your parents on certain days? will he be living with you full time when you relocate his nursery? that is incredibly rude of the practitioner and completely unprofessional, i’d put in an official complaint over that (i work in childcare and we would never ever dream of speaking to a parent like that). definitely file a complaint x
