How do I know if he's feeding too much?
My almost 3 week old little boy is formula fed and appears to be feeding little and often which is fine.. but recently he's clearing 4oz bottles and then an hour later crying for more.
Is this normal?

I had to do the same🤣 thought she’d be on the small bottles for a while but clearly not!🤣
We are exactly the same, we increased and now he's finishing most of the day time bottles and drinking less during the night but at least he has 3/4 hour gaps
@Beth I've recently increased to 4oz, he also takes a while to finish the 4oz and then may fall asleep in the middle too 😂 this is only during the day, night times are fine.
As long as he's feeding I'm not worried, he's gaining weight and is a happy little boy
My daughter is like this at 3 weeks old too, sometimes she finishes 5oz bottles! If he is hungry, give him it, that's what my midwife told me x

My LO was like that at 3 weeks as well. I would increase the bottles to 5oz, see how he gets on and if he’s not finishing them then you can drop back down to 4oz😊
