I agree with Bonny.
I agree with what @Bonny said. It is her responsibility to get the kids to school on her days and appointments. If she can’t do that then the kids should stay with the parent that can get them to school during the week.
@Christina @Bonny @Rema She stated if we don’t take her to school she will be riding the bus. Which doesn’t address most issues and he doesn’t want for two reasons. Her mom has a hard time even being ready at the house for drop off so how likely is she to be at the bus stop on time and secondly the bus has kids as old as 14 which has caused so many issues in the district that they’re looking to rearrange the schools and stepkid is only 4. I’ll have him look into lawyers
Yes. Look into lawyers. She’s not reliable and doesn’t sound like a safe parent either. Make sure you have evidence as well.
@Rema We’ve got text msgs from mom and can get statements from her teachers if needed.
I'd give her a date (maybe 2-3 weeks in advance so she has time to prepare) that you will stop providing this service. If she can't reliably get her child to school or to the doctor, I think that would be a great reason to modify the order.
