My daughter goes to Brambly House Montessori in Merstham. Costs £100 per day. So probably similar amount, BUT they have specialist therapists on a daily basis working with the kids 121 for any additional requirements they need. I would absolutely pay that price for this any day as they have been beyond amazing with our daughter. As to why Lemontree is so much, I don't know. Maybe ask. But also, saying that we paid £96 per day for a normal nursery down the road too, but we got soooooo much more from the Monsltessori that I took her out of normal nursery and just in to montessori.
Unfortunately we are not eligible for funding but we can do a childcare scheme via work, so we are stuck with certain nurseries to chose from. I will enquire, it could be £2250 pm for a 7.30am start, which seems much more expensive than all others around. Thanks for responding @Ghitta @Andrea
Hi, if you’re referring to a monthly fee for 5 days a week full-time then that does sound high and I guess assumes you have no funded hours at all? If you’re working then you should be eligible for at least 15 hours for under 3 year olds. My son was at Lemon Tree from age 2 and when I was looking into nurseries for him I found their fees comparable with those of other nurseries, and in some cases cheaper, especially when you consider all the add-ons. My son was very happy there and my daughter will be joining soon too. Good luck with your search 🤞
