@Lauren yeah I just wouldn’t forgive myself if I went against their advice and something went wrong. Thanks for the info about other people who have had c sections though, I don’t know anyone who’s had one
The problem with the medical advice is it is based on often unfounded risk data. It’s about being informed
You will still have a choice. You are able to go against medical advice and make an informed decision for yourself. If it’s any consolation I have multiple friends who have had planned c sections and have said they wouldn’t want to birth any other way now. It’s calm, controlled and predictable. The epidural is a quick process and you can’t see them doing it which is a big benefit
