It’s normal for your booking appointment to be 8 weeks. I’ve not had a blood test at this appointment before but that might vary. I only had to give a urine sample

Your 8 week appointment will be a tonne of questions about your health, baby’s father’s health and families but no bloods etc. - At your 12 week scan they will do bloods then!

I will be 4 weeks this Thursday and I have the first phone midwife appointment. I think for registers me on the Badges notes app ,then I have another appointment on 17/03at the maternity, which the nurse will check my weight, urine test, blood test and lots of questions. I know all off this as I have been pregnant last year but unfortunately it resulted in miscarriage

This is normal, my first baby the booking appointment wasn’t until 9 weeks and my first scan was over 13 weeks! I know the bloods test for iron because it resulted in me having to have iron tablets from this appointment, not sure what else the bloods checked.

@Georgi sorry to hear for your miscarriage. 😔 not sure what this app is. And had no appointment with midwife yet… and worried if i will be a bit late for when all appropriate blood tests will be if they dont do it at the first time i see the midwife.

Got my first booking appointment at 9 weeks
