Growth ultrasound

At my growth ultrasound, the femur measured in the <1%. Did anyone else have a similar result?

Did it say how many weeks? Also how far along are you?

Just the femur? What about the rest of the baby?

and your provider didn't say anything to you? I'd think that would result in additional testing

My boy is nessuring 5 weeks behind size wise weight wise he’s estimating bout a lb behind.

My boy was showing on the 2nd, then went to 3rd and moved to the 7th on the week he was born. He was absolutely perfect and totally in portion when he arrived 🥰

Hi! This happened to me with my first child! I was sent loop de loop around the town and to see a high risk doctor… it caused me SO much stress. ultimately i was like okay so what if his femur truly is extremely small and he is considered a short person or a midget or whatever is proper these days… what do we do about a short femur? Is there traction device? Is there a solution? And the answer is there is nothing you can do except prepare yourself… so why stress? This is all to say: ULTRASOUNDS ARE VERY VAGUE and truly can’t be trusted. I have learned to not put so confidence in the ultrasounds. My son is a COMPLETELY Normal Human with normal legs and normal femur and is thriving. However when i got news about the short femur i cried and cried and went on every peanut feed and Reddit feed looking for hope and similar stories. So i hope i can be some sort of reassurance for you. I actually went to an ultrasound today and the femur was measuring 2 weeks behind 🤪

I had a similar issue where femur measured 11% but rest of baby was normal to big. I haven't had that yet, but they said since the rest was looking fine it was likely just because of where her legs were under my ribs that it was hard to measure accurately. Also to note they said nothing about it - I saw it on the notes and asked. I wouldn't worry if the rest looked fine as it may have been positioning.

I’m having this happen but with her stomach. Everything else is normal. I don’t understand.
