Post partum joint pain

Hi all , I'm 7 months post partum with my twinnies and I am STILL suffering with knee pain and back pain ! Will it ever improve ? I'm trying to work on my core strength but if feels like as I'm getting stronger my girls are getting bigger and the weight lifting them up and down is killing me ahha ! Any tips? Xx

It is worth enquiring if your local NHS offer PP physio. My area offer it as standard to twin mothers. Otherwise, your GP may be happy to refer you as a general referral. I had terrible knee pain, it has eased a lot now though, they’re 12 months and I’d say it’s just got better- twins keep you fit that’s for sure!!

Maybe worth seeing someone / asking if pelvic floor physio would help. I found when I had specific exercises for pelvic floor that helped my back pain after my first bubs as my core was over compensating the muscles below.

Ehhhh my twins are almost 2 and my back is still TRASH 😅

I feel like this was the hardest time with them because they can’t walk. So you are constantly picking up two growing babies. I saw a pelvic floor therapist around this time. It made a world of difference. It helped my back and core strength so much.
