Best of luck! We went stir crazy with my first so put a dress on her and went for a walk straight after she’d been on the potty to at least get out. With my second we just attempted potty training last weekend and all came down with a sickness bug so had to shelve it for now 😂 stay strong and expect a lot of wee and poo everywhere, they really are clueless when they start!
@N 💞 yes, a good idea!! We only have a little crappy courtyard but it may help. Sadly we can't take a week off any time soon so will see if nursery can then take it up and reinforce it
@Rachael dress a good idea!!! We don't have many but could get us out of cabin fever moments!! Good luck when you pick it back up again
We followed this book and potty trained our toddler in January. We stayed in for the first couple of days but then did the same method above and went to the park with the travel potty straight after she went for a wee. It is a process and she still sometimes has accidents particularly at nursery and is still commando in leggings but we’re mainly there and ready for knickers I think. Good luck! x
Can you spend your outdoor time in the garden? Unfortunately with potty training it does mean a fair bit of indoor time until they grasp it, it also may take longer than 4 days
