I have a 2 year old and a 5 week old I didn’t want a double buggy so we’re using a ring sling for baby with toddler in buggy, or baby in buggy with toddler on buggy board with seat. Both working really well so far! It depends if my toddler is in a walking mood or is tired/nap time. I also don’t drive so walk everywhere with both x
Sling for baby and pram for toddler :)
I’m the same as @Ceri so far so good only problem is toddlers nap time for buggy board but if I know he’s due a nap I’ll use sling and put him in his stroller
Thanks @Ceri @Isa and @Alisha Can I ask why you didn't get a double pram, are they too bulky and inconvenient? Was just thinking if I wanted to be out all day where would I put them both if i wanted to be hands free and they were both napping? Or do you just come home for naps and not stay out/ keep baby in the sling for their nap? So many logistics to think about haha! Thanks for your help!
I just couldn't handle the faff of buying a new pram and knew I would be baby wearing anyway loads so just went for it.. I never stayed home specifically for naps and just put the baby in the carrier, especially at the start when they just nap almost constantly.. nowadays I switch between forward facing and rearfacing if she needs a nap :) x
Yes I didn’t want a bulky buggy and I know my toddler will be out of his buggy and stopping naps in just a few months so didn’t really see the point. Hoping when baby gets a bit heavy to carry my toddler will be walking/scootering everywhere x
I guess depends on toddlers age but I always just use pram for baby and standing buggy board. My daughter is 2.5 but doesn’t nap anymore and insists on walking everywhere so that kind of made the decision for me.
Jumping on this as wondering myself x
