@F X thank you so much for your reply! I’ll try this ❤️
Sorry, got no advice but just wanted to say you’re not alone in that. I’ve tried around 3 times since my little one was born and it has been uncomfortable. I’m still not back to how things were before but it’s definitely got easier each time x
@Katie thank you Katie, it definitely takes time - I’m glad to know it gets easier!
I’m similar. Tried 3 times and it was so uncomfortable. Definitely need some lube to make it a bit easier.
@Jade💃🏻 yes lots of people recommended using lube!
Baby 2 here It’s definitely something that hurt for a while for me after baby 1 as I had an episiotomy. The more tense I was the worst it hurt. Lots of lube and taking things VERY slow until I could relax was the only thing that worked. I think it only felt normal again about 8months PP. slightly easier this time as birthed without intervention and I think everything was more stretchy 🤣 but still definitely uncomfortable although not agonising
My physiotherapist advised me to massage my perineum and to relax! She also advised using lubricant. I’ve read on here a few women have said it took a while but they eventually got to a point where the discomfort went away. Few said lubricant helped them too.
