Two vessel Cord

Hi all, were any of your February babies found to have a two vessel cord instead of the usual three? I've just had my 20 week scan and this was detected and I've been booked in for growth scans at 32 and 36 weeks. When I google it I realised how serious it is and now I'm stressed. I never had this with my first (Feb 2023) baby. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

I’m currently experiencing it with our third. I’m 26+2 and booked in for the same growth scans. Not had any issues directly affected by it yet but also aware of how serious it can be and having a mini breakdown about it at least once a week. Trying to remain positive though and happy that I’ll get to see baby a couple extra times. Hoping it all goes well for you 🤍

Ah, sorry you are having mini breakdowns. Being pregnant is hard enough without extra stress. I'm going to try and keep positive as well and not google anymore as that's what's causing me stress. Hope it all goes well for you too x

I experienced it with my second who’s now 5 months old. I found out at the 20 week scan and had a couple extra scans, I was getting pushed into induction (like I was with my Feb 23 baby) but refused and I gave birth naturally and without any complications. They told me that they never used to highlight it in scans but have since changed it since, I think they just do extra scans to be thorough about blood flow x
