I slowed my workouts down around week 8 and then had to stop altogether by the end of my second trimester as I was carrying twins and I was just too big. I could like, go for a walk around the block and then I needed to sleep lol. Your energy levels will ebb and flow! You might find it much easier to work out in your second trimester. Like @Linda said, you get lots of energy after trimester 1 haha
At this point your body is also producing relaxin, which loosens ligaments making you more prone to injury. So that could be part of it too!
If you feel extra sore maybe it’s your body telling you to take it more easy. Try to rest more and have more rest days. 😊. It’s important to listen to your body.
I was working out the first month of pregnancy but the bottom of my belly started to get a lot of pain from the workouts I was doing. (Touching my toes standing up) I can’t remember what else so I stopped working out altogether :/ I need to get back on it but I have no motivation.
I have been workout during my first trimester and continue to do that! I am 15 weeks. Although I have reduced my weights to about 60% of my earlier weights and of course reduced my intensity too during my HIIT. Hopefully I can continue doing that until I am too heavy to!
I remember feeling so tired first trimester and I would get some pregnancy symptoms at night time. I would workout in the morning, and then come home, shower, eat breakfast, and take a nap 🤣. Second trimester I was a ball of energy with my workouts… until now . Now at 26 weeks and still working out but struggling 😅
