Enrolling in nursery

Can my child’s father (we are separated) enrol my 3 year old at a new nursery without my consent? She is down as living with me but we will be sharing 50/50 from April NOT through a court order or anything like that though.

Yeah I think so. I know you only need one parent to enrol in school and one to deregister so I think nursery is likely the same.

I'm so sorry he's treating you like this. Apparently he can but would need proof that he's the father I think by handing in birth certificate. Xx

@Ruth it’s so frustrating his not thinking about her needs at all xx

@Kerrie just trying to get at you. If I was in your shoes I prob would take it further. You're her mother and have every right to make the decisions. If you're not happy with said nursery , put your foot down. Sending hugs xx

@Ruth she already attends nursery’s where I live so he wants to enrol her to a new one to go 2 days a week (one of the days is a day she goes to the nursery at mine) as well as going to nursery at mine for 2 days when she’s already struggling at nursery as it is 😩 I don’t know what I can do to stop it x

@Kerrie oh man that's so tough :( try and make him see sense. Tell him it's about his daughter, not yourselves. Xxx
