@Katrina yeah I'm super worried about it taking years. My son is putting himself in dangerous positions, do you know if there's any where else I can go for assessments?
How old is he and what dangerous positions? Just because there’s so many services out there but some have age restrictions and meet different needs x
@Katrina his 13. His been walking out of the house late at night and traveling 2hours to family members, this worries me as it's dark and not a safe area to be waiting around for busses! He also has GDD, so is a very young 13. He is becoming more argumentative and aggressive with me & he point blank refuses to go to school. He is suspected ADHD but the school are now questioning autism too. I just need to at least know what I'm dealing with, so I can figure out how to deal with it. The school aren't much help, the GP has told me all I can do is wait for CAMHS and I've asked for a social worker. But I also have 2 younger children to look after & I'm on my own, I feel like I'm not getting any help and just being left to deal with it x
