Honestly I had my first one literally last week and I was stressing myself out about it but honestly it was easy peeesy - just ask the nurse to use a small speculum - the nurse said to me people who find it uncomfortable tend to have a big speculum used for them - you have the right to ask for the smallest - honestly I swear it’s not half as bad as what u think - it’s super quick as well xxx
This is my 4th time and it I don't like it but it doesn't hurt. I just feel more cringed out haha. It's over in 2 mins. I had mine on Monday.
It’s totally fine! I even had the bigger speculum and it’s not a bother, make fists and put them under your bum, it makes it easier for them to do it x
I'll go you one further, I had a colposcopy after an abnormal smear. She took biopsies, and it was completely painless. You have nothing to be worried about.

I had mine last month I believe. It was ok. Really quick. I was like u worried as the last time I had it few years ago it was horrible. Very painful and unpleasant. I guess it depends who's doing it. I wish yours was gentle handed 😘
@Veronica thank you I really hope so. I do have a high pain tolerance to be honest it’s more the thought of scrapping cervix that makes me feel queasy x
If you don't feel comfortable just re arrange it for another few weeks time. Xxx
I had mine done last week (not my first though lol), it's absolutely fine and literally takes seconds! It's so worth the seconds of slight discomfort.
